• Go to the OS X mail menu and follow this route Mail> Preferences
• Click on Accounts option.
• Click on Create an account option.
• Type your full name in the given field.
• Give your MSN email address.
• Give your your MSN email account password and click on continue.
• Under the account type, select POP.
• Under the description, type MSN.
• Under the Incoming Mail Server type pop3.live.com
• Type your complete MSN address under User Name and Click on Continue.
• Type MSN mail under Description for Outgoing Mail Server.
• Type smtp.live.com under the Outgoing Mail Server:
• Make it a point that the Use Authentication option is selected.
• Give your MSN email account password under Password: and
• Click on Continue.
• Click on Create option.
• Close the Accounts window.
