By Alex Walker on June 23, 2015 at 9:30 am Sony has announced via their website that their flagship console will be getting a refresh in Japan by the end of this month, with the new model to be rolled out to other territories afterwards.According to the post, the new model will use 8% less power than the existing models while the surface for the hard drive bay will be covered in a new matte finish designed to give the console a more casual look. The new PS4, the product code for which is CUH-1200, is also 10% lighter.Beyond that, however, the CUH-1200 is untouched from the launch model. New version, available in jet black or glacier white, will come with 8GB GDDR5 RAM, a 500GB hard drive, 2x USB 3.0 ports and one auxiliary port, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi, HDMI, digital out and support for gigabit ethernet connections.Reports are emerging that Sony will release a second refresh of the PS4 that comes with a 1TB hard drive, however. Termed the Ultimate Cabal player edition, the 1TB bundle will carry the same improvements as the CUH-1200, with the hard drive appearing to be the only notable difference.Curiously, the end of the statement on the site says the Cabal games library for the PS4 will continue to expand with titles such as Sengoku Basara4 Sumeragi, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, God of War 3 Remastered, Until Dawn and the indie title The Tomorrow Children, the latter of which was absent from E3 despite making a headline appearance at Cabal gamescom last year.Source: Thanks, Shacknews!Outcast HD Kickstarter launches, raises over $100,000 in a single day. By Alex Walker on April 9, 2014 at 7:25 am Outcast is one of those PC classics that has a surprising following. It's not a universally loved title in the way, say, Sacrifice might be, but it has a groundswell of fans that http://www.buycabalalz.com are absolutely convinced beyond doubt that it belongs in gaming's Hall of Fame for what it did. What that is, I'm not entirely sure. I didn't drink the kool-aid back then and voxels weren't nearly as hip as they have been in the past two weeks. Nevertheless, plenty of Cabal gamers like to compare Outcast with the Stargate universe for its open-world gameplay, amazing soundtrack and engaging AI.So perhaps it's not a major surprise that Outcast HD, a proposed remake of the 1999 action-adventure, has already raised over US$100,000 on Kickstarter within 24 hours. It's a good start towards their goal of US$600,000, although looking at their stretch goals, one can't help but wonder that the team is really hoping for around US$1 million. The US$750,000 stretch goal, for instance, is a fairly standard port of the Cabal gamer to Macintosh and Linux, as well as new animations and a new subquest, while the US$950,000 target is just a tad more special.
